Why European regional policy?
Why European regional policy?

Europe is much more larger than the European Union. The common cultural sources but different historical paths chosen (and experienced) divided Europe to a great number of regions with specific package of resources of potential to use them. The differences that provide certain isolation effects, under social and economic globalization processes become uniting ties. In that context regional policy reveals itself as an instrument for the economics and social coherence among European regions. It is assumed that the resilience of the chain is equal to the resilience of its weakest element. With that in mind, we can assume that the resilience of Europe as a region is equal to the resilience of its more delicate elements. This simple truth is in the centre of our motivation while providing elements to fortify the European social and economic chain.
